Plastic bottle market is a massive market with a massive volume of consumption (50,000 millions bottles per year). There are various effects due to plastic consumption:
Environmental impact
- 1 litre of Plastic bottle production leads to the loss of 3 litres of pure water and ¼ oil.

- A massive burden on habitats is that plastic trashes need a large space. More spaces and labor needed to deal with increasing number of trashes.
BUT trash separation is not the final answer. A report of Department of Pollution Control identifies that for the last 10 decades, Thailand has increased amount of trashes continually and by 2012, 36% of 16 million tons of trashes was destroyed in an appropriate way.
The number of consumers is small concerning trash separation.
